Week Two: Vermonts Nite Sky

I took this picture at 9pm. I was trying to take a picture of the moon, but it started to flurry and I got some great shots of the snow. In the first picture there was just a couple flakes but, by the time I took the second one It had begun to really snow hard. I liked these two pictures because I accidentally caught snow flakes and it shows how different 10 minutes in Vermont can be.

  1. Wow...these pictures are really neat! It looks like a meteor shower. Did you do these on an automatic setting? I really want to learn how to take night photos...

  3. These pictures are great! How did you get it to look like that? It doesn't look like snow, it looks like you got pictures of falling stars or a meteor shower. Did you increase the amount of time that the shutter was open?

  5. Wow was my first thought as well. These photos look amazing.

At first look, I thought it was a picture of the stars, but was very surprised to find out it is snow. I cant believe how well you were able to capture the flakes!

  6. This is such a neat shot. It reminds me of the old school screensavers when computers first came out. The ones that made you feel like you were flying through space. Isn't it amazing how things can change in ways that you don't expect, yet you can capture great images like this? Nice work.
